Akelos – A new PHP framework port of Ruby on Rails

Today, I came across a new PHP framework, Akelos, that claims to be a direct port of Ruby on Rails.

“Being port of Ruby on Rails to PHP Akelos is also optimized for programmer happiness and sustainable productivity. It lets you write beautiful PHP Code by favoring convention over configuration.“

Looking at the features page, it looks impressive but whether it will strive in the PHP world, who knows? There’s even a screencast, http://www.akelos.org/screencasts, have fun.
